I grew up in a rowdy house in Walnut Creek, California, with two loving (and resilient) parents and 7 younger brothers… we rarely had a dull moment.

My brother, Ben, and I founded Teedup while I was in my last semester of college at Humboldt State University (now Cal-Poly Humboldt University), where I landed after spending time at Diablo Valley College and San Diego State.

At HSU, I was the humble recipient of the First-Team All-Conference and Dean’s List academic honors while playing football and earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

While playing football, I was drawn to an eclectic mix of groups in which I had the pleasure of participating in varying capacities. A few examples would be serving as president of the Business & Economics Club and being a member of the NCAA’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a local church, and a few other local social groups.

I have always enjoyed walking in many different circles; plus, when you spend 5.5 years in undergrad, you have some time for extracurriculars…

Built on a deep personal passion for blessing others

As Ben and I have grown a bit or refined a bit since, so too has Teedup. Teedup is built on a deep personal passion for blessing others, as we have been blessed by following the lead of the Holy Spirit to the best of our imperfect abilities. We strive to build Teedup as a vehicle for people to develop healthy, long-term, and practical intra-interpersonal relationships in an area where we spend the largest part of our waking adult lives but where it is often seen as impractical to have such meaningful relationships, especially in “for-profit” companies.  Yep, we are for profit.

I am thankful to be married to the love of my life, Brianna, since June 4, 2022. She is a powerful partner and teammate who truly: 1) loves God, 2) resolves conflict healthily, and 3) together we have a ton of fun.

We currently live in Walnut Creek with our son, Aaron Steven Wood, born March 5th, 2023. Life is accelerating.
