I grew up in a rowdy house in Walnut Creek, California, with two loving, resilient parents and seven (Yes, 7) younger brothers. We rarely had a dull moment.

My brother, Ben, and I founded Teedup while I was in my last semester of college at Humboldt State University (now Cal-Poly Humboldt University), where I landed after spending time at San Diego State.

At HSU, I was the humble recipient of the First-Team All-Conference and Dean’s List academic honors while playing football and earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

While playing football, I was drawn to an eclectic mix of groups in which I had the pleasure of participating in varying capacities. A few examples would be serving as president of the Business & Economics Club and being a member of the NCAA’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a local church, and a few other local social groups.

I have always enjoyed walking in many different circles; plus, when you spend 5.5 years in undergrad, you have some time for extracurricular experiences.

Built on a deep personal passion for blessing others

Ben and I, alongside Teedup, have experienced tremendous growth since its first launch, and we are deeply proud of our accomplishments. Teedup is built on a deep personal passion for blessing others, just as we have been blessed by following the lead of the Holy Spirit to the best of our abilities. We strive to build Teedup as a vehicle for people to develop healthy, long-term, and practical relationships in an area where we spend the most significant part of our waking adult lives – The for-profit world of business. Our view, in this for-profit world, and we are for-profit, is that prioritizing meaningful relationships can often seem impractical, but we find it a paramount virtue.

I am thankful to be married to the love of my life, Brianna, since June 4, 2022. She is a powerful partner and teammate who truly 1) loves God, 2) healthily handles conflict, and 3) makes life a ton of fun.

We live in Walnut Creek with our son, Aaron Steven Wood, born on March 5, 2023. Life is accelerating.

Let's make something great together
